Menu 1-6

"Contemporary gastronomy at the highest level" they say.

For only 2 evenings Zurich's gastronomy was in the spotlight. 6 restaurants participated and 6 executive chefs from around the world were able to get on board. Only 10 days before the event was taking place, I got informed which restaurant was selected for me. In my case it was Restaurant Rechberg 1837 - never been there and I was happy to get to know a new restaurant in my hometown!

The original ticket price was 330 CHF incl. actually everything. Every course, every wine (open end... we particularly didn't reached any kind of end :-) ), coffee, water... for my opinion that's a fair calculation. Yes, alot of money, but you get entertained on a high level and the organization was pretty good!!

James Lowe was the international executive chef (Restaurant Lyle's - Nr. 38 World's 50 Best) and the "hometown" executive chef was Markus Stöckle (Restaurant Rosi). Great cooperation!

After aprox. 3 hours the the 2nd last course was served. Outstanding, surprising and delicious - no more further words to ad - it was just stunning!
