Zurich's "Wienachtsdorf"

Updated: Mar 25, 2020

It's beginning to look a lot like Christimas, don't you think? I mean... I do!

For me it all starts with the christmas lights and especially when they build up the "Weihnachtsdorf" (translation: christmas village) at Sechseläutenplatz.

Of course I've already been there since they started on 21st November and I am happy to share some of my impressions with you. I can only recommend you to visit.

Famous for especially food! Plenty of food variety! Of course the traditional "standard" is of course also possible to purchase. Scarfs, crockery, soaps etc. and all kind of christmas stuff.

The food offers are expensive - what's actually cheap anyway :-)? - but you have such a big choice to choose from, it's worth it.

Let me show you some of my impression I've made. As usual - pictures are speaking more than words.

...got hungry? :-)

Go there by yourself and just enjoy the christmas feeling which you will get for sure while enjoying a cup of mulled wine or a piece of something hearty - it's worth the visit, I promise!
